Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her roles in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Hain Kun..! She started her career in her twenties. The role she played as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab has made her extremely popular. Her next appearance was in Dil in which she shared screen space with Aamir. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she began learning to dancing at a young age. As a teenager she started acting, and was a victim for a few years because most of her films at first were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of the top film actresses. Following her marriage was over, she took a few months off from acting prior to returning. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won eight of these. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. She is also acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
