Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is American and comes from a Mexican-American background. Since she was a child she has had a strong interest in playing activities. Gerina took up golf in her first game at the age of 15. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. In high school, she had won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the state level. She was a student at an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. She took home all the competitions she participated in during her senior year. While in her university career, she was crowned Conference USA individual champion player of the year and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
